Updated on 20 October 2026: this page says what the site stores, and what for.

1. Our approach

FindMyLead was designed with respect for your privacy as a priority. We do not use advertising cookies or targeted advertising, and our audience measurement is cookie-free. Nothing we store follows you from one site to another.

2. Technologies used

2.1 Login cookie and browser storage

This data stays with us, except for the support chat: when you open it, it receives your identity to recognise you.

What is storedPurposeDuration
LoginPurpose: Keep you signed in and secure your session (a cookie and local storage)Duration: 90 days at most, erased at logout
PreferencesPurpose: Language, menu state, panel sizesDuration: Until you erase them
Navigation in progressPurpose: Take you back to where you were after a sign-in or a paymentDuration: Until the tab is closed
A business referrer's codePurpose: If you arrive through a business referrer's link, we keep their code to credit them with your sign-up.Duration: 13 months after your last click on that link; erased when your account is created
Support chatPurpose: Recognise your account when you open the chatDuration: Until you log out

Legal basis: Login, preferences, navigation in progress and the chat are strictly necessary for the service you asked for (article 82 of the French Data Protection Act): no consent is required for them.

2.2 Audience measurement (cookie-free)

To understand how to improve our service, we measure the audience with a tool that:

  • Does not place any cookies on your device
  • Does not collect any personally identifiable data
  • Does not track users across sites
  • Is hosted on our own servers in Europe

This tool complies with the recommendations of the French data protection authority (CNIL) and does not require consent.

2.3 Third-party services

Some third-party services may use their own storage technologies only when you actively use them:

ServiceWhat happens
PaymentWhat happens: Payment takes place on our provider's page
Sign in with GoogleWhat happens: Signing in goes through Google
Support chatWhat happens: When you open the chat: your conversation is kept 6 months at most to resume it.

3. Managing your local data

You can delete locally stored data at any time:

  • Logout: Use the logout button to clear your session data
  • Browser: Clear the site's data in your browser settings, under Privacy, then Clear browsing data

Note: Deleting authentication data will log you out and you will need to log in again.

4. Your rights

In accordance with GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you may at any time:

  • Access information about stored data
  • Delete your local data (via logout or browser settings)
  • Request information about our use of these technologies
