FindMyLead, Waalaxy, lemlist or Apollo: which prospecting tool to choose in 2026?
Four tools, four jobs: automating LinkedIn, sending sequences, searching a contact database, or finding the right person and writing their message. Every price links to its source.
You run a consultancy, an engineering office or an IT services firm of 10 to 49 people, and you prospect yourself. They do not do the same job: here is what each one does, and what it costs.
This article is written by the FindMyLead team, one of the tools compared. The other tools' prices were read on their pages on 14 October 2026, with links.
The four tools in one table
Prices are monthly, with no commitment. The "team of three" column is our arithmetic from the per-user price shown.

Directors of consulting and services firms in Lyon, 10 to 49 employees
Free
FindMyLead: the right person and their message
You describe the people you want to reach in one sentence: "Directors of consulting firms with 10 to 49 employees in Île-de-France". The AI turns the sentence into criteria shown on screen (job, place, size, sector), which you correct. That search returned 1,326 people in October 2026, free to see (the founder use case).
A credit pays for one contact and their LinkedIn profile, once. Their work email is looked up at no extra credit, found or not. The AI then writes a LinkedIn message and an email for each person, from their job, their profile and their company. You review before sending.
Emails go out from addresses created in your company's name, with a gradual ramp-up and automatic follow-ups. The whole team shares one subscription.
What FindMyLead does not do:
- it never acts on your LinkedIn account: you open the profile and send the prepared message yourself;
- it does not give mobile numbers yet;
- it has no financial filters (revenue, legal form) and no buying signals;
- it has no free plan: the trial lasts 14 days, with 25 credits, no card.
Waalaxy: LinkedIn on autopilot
Waalaxy is a Chrome extension published by a company based in Montpellier (Waalaxy's legal notice). It sends invitations and messages from your LinkedIn account. It starts from your LinkedIn or Sales Navigator searches (Waalaxy's home page).
The Pro plan includes 300 invitations a month, Business 800, with email sequences sent from your own mailbox (Waalaxy pricing page).
The risk sits with your account. LinkedIn writes that members who use automation tools "risk having their accounts restricted or shut down" (LinkedIn help page on prohibited software). Waalaxy writes that LinkedIn caps invitations at 200 a week, and varies its number of actions every day (Waalaxy's article on LinkedIn limits).
Choose Waalaxy if…
- LinkedIn is your main channel and you want invitations to go out without you;
- you prospect alone and the €39 Pro plan is enough (Waalaxy pricing);
- your lists already live in Sales Navigator.
Other options: the Waalaxy alternatives.
lemlist: multichannel sequences
lemlist, based in Paris, sends email sequences from your Google, Microsoft or SMTP mailboxes, warm-up included (lemlist pricing page). The Multichannel plan adds LinkedIn automation, calls and SMS.
The Email plan includes no credits. Finding an email costs 5 credits, a phone number 20 (lemlist credit table). Its help center advises at most 20 LinkedIn invitations a day (lemlist account limits).
Choose lemlist if…
- you want LinkedIn, calls and emails in one sequence;
- you send a lot of emails and want to tune every condition and delay;
- someone on the team has the time to build and monitor those sequences.

Apollo: a contact database and sequences
Apollo claims 240 million contacts and 30 million companies. Apollo names three sources: its users who share their contacts, the public web and third-party providers (Apollo's processing notice); it does not publish the French share of its database. Email campaigns are included in every account. An email costs 1 credit, a phone number 8, and unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle (Apollo pricing page).
The Basic plan includes 2,500 credits per seat per month. A free plan, with no time limit, gives 75 credits a month and connects Gmail accounts only (Apollo pricing page).
Choose Apollo if…
- you need phone numbers;
- you prospect alone and want to start on a free plan;
- you want a lot of email credits for a per-seat price.
Before choosing, run the test described in our article Apollo in France.
How to choose for your situation
- Automated LinkedIn, risk accepted: Waalaxy or lemlist Multichannel.
- The director's phone number: Apollo or lemlist.
- You want to write to the named director, HR director or CFO, on LinkedIn and by email, several of you on one subscription: FindMyLead.
- You are unsure: run the same search on two tools during their trial, on the companies you know best.
Frequently asked questions
Which prospecting tool is the cheapest?
For one person, Apollo's free plan and Waalaxy Pro at €39 a month cost less, each for part of the job (Apollo pricing, Waalaxy pricing). From two users on, compare the price per user.
Can Waalaxy get my LinkedIn account restricted?
It acts from your account, and LinkedIn writes that members who use such tools risk a restriction or a shutdown. Waalaxy paces its actions, but LinkedIn decides.
Does Apollo work for prospecting in France?
Apollo does not publish the French share of its database. Search it for twenty companies you know and count the right people it finds.
Does FindMyLead send LinkedIn messages?
No. FindMyLead writes each person's LinkedIn message, and you send it yourself from their profile. Nothing is sent in your name on LinkedIn; emails go out from addresses created in your company's name.
